DFUSION COMMUNICATION PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES
1. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT?
The dfusion communication privacy policy meets the requirements set out by the Data Protection Regulation, which was adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on 24 May 2016 and will take effect from 25 May 2018. As a core element of dfusion communication's business is to conduct information policy on behalf of its clients, it is particularly important to protect the personal data of information recipients, in particular journalists, bloggers, influencers and other individuals whose personal data are used to carry out public relations contracts. This is to ensure data security and full transparency in the relationship between dfusion communication and the recipients of the message.
2. WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER?
The administrator of the personal data is the entity dfusion communication Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw at al. Zjednoczenia 36/5, 01-830 Warsaw, entered into the register of entrepreneurs by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw XII Economic Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000357443, NIP: 522-295-17-67, REGON: 142414993, represented by: Kamil Kozłowski - President of the Management Board (e-mail: kamil.kozlowski@dfusion.pl). The person to whom all enquiries regarding personal data protection issues at dfusion communication should be directed is the company's Managing Director - Łukasz Malczewski (e-mail: lukasz.malczewski@dfusion.pl).
3. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA TO US?
According to Article 4(1) of the Data Protection Regulation, "personal data" means information about an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the natural person.
4. WHAT CATEGORIES OF DATA ARE PROCESSED BY DFUSION COMMUNICATION?
The activity of dfusion communication consists in building relationships between companies and their business and social environment, which is carried out, among other things, by sending information about their activities to the media, journalists, bloggers, influencers, photographers, collaborators and other persons whose processing is necessary for the performance of public relations contracts. We feel responsible for providing the designated groups with reliable and comprehensive information, in a user-friendly format and in line with their expectations. We always tailor the information sent to the profile and interests of the designated individuals.
5. FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?
dfusion communication provides public relations services to its clients. These activities involve, among other things, providing reliable and comprehensive information about their activities to the media, social media and the wider business environment. Our aim is to support the work of the designated groups by providing information, including in the form of press releases, articles, commentaries, statements and other content to raise awareness of our clients' products and services.
6. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
dfusion communication collects the basic range of personal data indicated in point 4 of the groups: name, place of employment (editorial office), business telephone number, e-mail address. This allows us to fulfil the primary purpose of our activities.
7. WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA?
The personal data we collect is processed on a permanent basis and for a period of time defined by the scope of the contracts for the provision of public relations and marketing services.
8. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
We respect the right to privacy of the people we work with and all those whose data is processed in the provision of Public Relations services. We want to ensure their complete security, giving confidence that the data is processed in a way that is fit for purpose. Each person has the right to be informed about what data is being processed and for what purposes. Individuals also have the right to have their data corrected, deleted and updated so that the information sent from us is in line with the expectations and work profile of the subject. Individuals also have the right to object to or restrict the processing of their data.
IMPORTANT: If you do not wish to receive information from the dfusion agency - please write to us at: daneosobowe@dfusion.pl. We will then withdraw the data indicated, processed by dfusion communication.
9. DFUSION'S OBLIGATIONS AS DATA CONTROLLER.
- dfusion communication will only process personal data to the extent and for the purpose provided for in this document. When processing personal data, dfusion communication undertakes to comply with data protection legislation, in particular RODO (after 25 May 2018).
- dfusion communication declares that it has taken effective technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data from being accessed by unauthorised persons, from being taken by an unauthorised person, from being processed in violation of the law and from being damaged, destroyed, lost or unreasonably modified.
- dfusion communication is committed to complying with the RODO requirements regarding the security of the processing of your personal data.

- Due to the fact that we provide public relations services to companies outside the European Economic Area, personal data may in certain situations be transferred outside this area, e.g. to the USA. In each situation, the data subject will be informed of such a situation along with detailed information on the legal safeguards of the transferred data.
- dfusion communication undertakes to process personal data on a permanent basis in order to provide recipients with a full range of information. Persons whose data are processed by dfusion communication can always exercise the rights set out in section 8. dfusion communication, through its employees and associates, will perform the following operations on the personal data entrusted:
- collection,
- consolidation,
- tidying up,
- storage,
- use (for the purposes indicated in section 5. above),
- disclosure to others in accordance with the law, the provisions of the Public Relations Cooperation Agreements
- and removal.
- as dfusion communication provides services to a variety of companies, personal data will be used to provide services to them, but always in accordance with their interests and expectations. Recipients of the information can ascertain at any time whether they will be receiving updated information from the company concerned and can exercise their rights as set out in the Regulation (RODO).
10. IN WHAT FORM DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data is processed electronically in IT systems, which allows for reliable and quick contact, meeting the objective of efficient and reliable information. The electronic form also provides the assurance that personal data will be stored securely and the guarantee of rapid identification of processed data and, therefore, their eventual deletion.
11. LEGAL BASIS
Article 6(1)(F) - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU. L. 2016, No. 119, p.1), hereinafter referred to as RODO.
"The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child."
